Last Freedom Day

Looks like this is the last day before my classes. I begin at 8am tomorrow morning. I plan to leave here around 6am (almost 2 hour ride) and grab a muffin and bottle of milk on my way to work. Perfect day start with a good bottle of milk you know!

Responsive Relationships in Inclusive Environments (ECE11) & College Writing Skills (COMM 200 Y4) are my first classes tomorrow. I got like a 3 hour gap in between. I don't know what I'll really do between that. I have to talk to my teacher, because my police record check to work hasn't come in yet. I applied for it in mid-july for it. I won't be able to begin feild practice until I received it. I need to see a pre-med nurse too, but I can't make an appointment until I got that paper. It was a long weekend that there not open because it's labor day today. I have no choice but to wait until tomorrow to talk to my teachers. Tight schedual it's becomming, dn't you think?

Wow, it's rainning outside quite a bit right now. It has cooled down quite a lot here. Fall, my favorite time of year is comming. Not too hot and not too cold. Also the fashion colors out right now are my favorite. I love dark greens, yellows, oranges, reds and browns of it all. I get to wear the pretty scarfs soon that Filipe's grandmother made for me.

Orientation Day!

Wow Orientation day took longer then expected of my day. My plan of doing the laundry sunk. I start classes next week which I'm super excited for! I already made a new friend which I'll be calling K-Chan for online name. I prefer not to use my friends names in post unless given permission from them. Were in the same class and were both major anime lovers! Which is awesome. She does live a bit far from me though. Across Etobikoe somewheres where I won't mention online.

Anyways, I got tons of free goodies like a calculator, a scarf and candy! I also got my questions answered about the Police Record Check to work with vulnerable people which I'm late getting. The station promised me it in 2-3 weeks but were like 3X past that! Seems like there getting an overwelming amount of applicants right now. Our practice feilds won't begin right away, so if I don't get it by tuesday next week I'll speak to my teacher. I just need to find my receipt prooving I am waitting for it. I already got all my immunizations and my first aid.

I did first aid durring valentines! Yes, best give you can give, learning to save a life! I was feeling a bit lonely anyways on valentines due to my fiance being so far from me and I think if I remember right he had things to do then too. We did spend a nice evening talking online thought. He made it extra special that night. ^^ I love him.

I'm looking lots forward to school and making new friends. I think, this will be an exciting school year!

Back to School

I just got back from the college. I had to go sign the comfirmation of enrolment and pickup some paperwork from them. Now in two weeks I should see my loan beinning to come in for school. I begin classes September 7th. I also picked up my books today that cost me a nice 500$!!

There was a package I needed too, but it wasn't in. And I noticed there was something I was surpost to ask for. I'm not sure if I got it or not, so I'll ask at orientation for my class tomorrow. I'm pretty sure everything will go smoothly. I'm just worried about my police record check to work with vulnerable people. I still haven't gotten it but I apploed for it in mid-july. I still need to see a ParaMed Nurse with that paperwork and I got everything else I need. I really hope it all works out. I'll speak to my teacher tomorrow.

There seems to be a lot of construction the last few days, so theres a lot of route changes. I'll have to make sure to leave a bit earlier tomorrow. Orientation is at 10:45am in the gym. Well time to clean up because I want to eat some dinner soon. My appartment got quite messy in the last few days. That's all for now everyone! Take care!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog everyone. I just recently changed he layout and decided to onces again begin over. I just quit my job finally because I'll be starting college soon.

I begin classes on september 7th, but I have to go to orientation on August 31st. I'm much looking forward to it and hope it goes smoothly. I'm taking Early Childhood Education at North Humber College in Toronto. I'll be nice making new friends. Lots of my old friends have moved away and it gets lonely not to have people to hang around with. The only few friends I have here are crammed with homework, which I'll be soon.

On my last day of work I received a small tree which I planted. It was so cute I called it hoshi. (which means star in japanese) It's surport to be part of an environmental project which you record back how it grows to them. I think, I'll just report here on my blog about it. I'll be trying my best to post a bit about it and maybe a photo every month. It seemed like a cute and fun project. Here's how it began:



I finally got all my TCGs in order! I also joined a few more. For those that don't know TCG is a trading card game. I joined a few ones that you can play online. There 100% free you just need to know how to make a basic webpage and have a valid email. There pretty fun.

I got my own TCG AnimaNatura on the go. It's under Hiatus right now. I'm remaking everything and aimming to get it up by October 2010! It's a nature based TCG which I'm excited to get the project going. It was lunched before but I was unhappy with it, so I put it on break and decided to remake the entire thing. Please stand by to see how it looks in the end.
